Listing, picking a launch date and your link cost nothing. There is no badge to add and no vote target to reach.
A hand check
A person opens your app and looks at its signature, notarization and screenshots. Pass, and you get a blue tick and a dated report. If not, your status page says why, so you can fix it.
A followed link
Your listing has a normal link to your site, with no nofollow on it and nothing to do in return.
An order nobody can buy
Launch order comes from votes alone. Sponsors get a separate row that always says Sponsored, and it never moves the list.
What to expect
MacPip is new, and its audience is small so far. A launch here is a fair start and a lasting listing, not a flood of downloads. Our traffic and numbers are public, so you can judge that yourself.
Launch on a day you choose, with votes and a place on the front page, or just list your app and skip the day. Both are free, and both stay in the directory afterwards. A tick means a person looked on the date shown. It is not a safety guarantee.
