- Shows a plan firstand waits for your OK before it touches a file.
- Uses real facts onlyfrom your code, your site or your answers. Not found means it asks.
- Keeps MacPip outof your project and site. Only the badge prompt adds a MacPip link.
- Says what it changedfile by file, and what it could not check.
How to use one
- Open your project in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another agent that can read your files.
- Paste the prompt, or give it the one line, if your agent can open links.
- Read its plan. Say OK, change it, or stop. Nothing happens before you answer.
Questions
Which agents do these work with?
Any coding agent that can read your project: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and others like them. Chat apps without file access can still use the writing prompts if you paste in your README and site text.
What is the one line for?
Some agents can open a web address. Give them the one line and they read the full task from its Markdown copy, so you paste less.
Will a prompt change my code without asking?
No. Every prompt tells the agent to show a plan and wait for your OK. The read-only ones change nothing at all. Still, use version control and read the diff.
Why do they keep MacPip out of my project?
Because the prompts are for your app, not for us. Only the badge prompt adds a MacPip link, and only because you asked for it. Your listing's followed link is the same either way.
Are they free to use and change?
Yes. Copy them, change them, share them. A link back to the page is nice, and not required.
For an agent that only reads, the MacPip MCP server searches Mac apps. To list an app through your agent, get your private link on Your apps.
